When you step into Noodle Bar, the first thing you notice is the atmosphere. Parts of our restaurant are extremely lively, always full of interesting conversations from locals and out-of-towners. We also have corners of our restaurant that are more quiet and peaceful — a place where you can enjoy a quiet meal on your own. It may sound impossible, but Noodle Bar is really a place you can come any time of day and find exactly what you’re looking for.
And we love that. But the thing that keeps people coming back week after week, the thing we pride ourselves on, happens after you taste the phenomenal noodles that come from our kitchen.
Our chefs take pride in preparing everything with expertise and passion. They want each bowl to come out perfectly. They want each meal to exceed the customer’s expectations of how good a dish can be.
There are many ways we can get to that point, of course. Bringing talented, innovative chefs helped a lot. But the key to the success of each dish comes down to choosing only high quality ingredients to start with.
Just as you can’t build a house on a shaky foundation, and you can’t create the best noodle dishes in town if you don’t pay attention to what they’re made of. If the ingredients aren’t the top of the line, the flavors won’t come out perfectly, the customers won’t have as much fun enjoying their meal, and we lose the essence of who we are as a restaurant.
So how do we ensure the best ingredients? It takes time. It takes experience. It takes constantly learning, trying new things, exploring new options and collaborating with each other and our customers. It’s definitely hard work, but if you ask anyone at Noodle Bar, it’s really the only thing that matters.
